Dressed to Fight

This editorial studio project was developed as part of my university work and focuses on contrast, movement, and identity. Using controlled studio lighting, I explored deep shadows against the model’s dark skin tone to create strong visual contrast and depth.

The concept centres on a boxer, styled in both a tailored suit and training wear, playing with the contrast between discipline and aggression, control and release. Movement became a key element of the shoot, with long exposure used to capture punches in motion, creating blur and a sense of impact within still images.

Shot entirely in black and white with subtle red accents breaking through, the imagery balances clean fashion styling with raw physical energy, reinforcing the tension between strength, elegance, and motion.
